From the mixtape era to your Music library
  1. Find your tapes. Browse the original mixtape releases and open their source pages. A source may change or remove its downloads; availability is checked separately from the release listing.
  2. Keep your files. Download from a host that offers the tape, or use files you already have. Keep a copy of the originals before editing tags or importing them.
  3. Add them in Music on your Mac. Choose File → Import or Add to Library and select the audio files. To listen on your other devices, enable Sync Library with Apple Music or iTunes Match.

The local library agent can download, tag, and import the supported tapes on its connected Mac. Website visitors can browse sources; access to a connected personal library stays private. Apple’s import guide ↗
